At BitCrunching, we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how data is handled across our web environment and domain infrastructure.
1. Your Files: On-Device Guarantee
Creative Hub tools (Convert, Compress, Combine, Cleanly, Context, Congify, Coudio and Codify) operate entirely within your web browser. Your uploaded images and files are processed locally on your device. We never upload, view, sell, or store your files on any remote server. Your settings and last session stay on your device too (see our Cookie Policy).
2. Data You Choose to Send Us: Reports & Feedback
The report button in the site header and footer (bug reports, translation suggestions and feedback) is the only feature where information leaves your device because of something you do, and it is not covered by the on-device guarantee in section 1. Reports are not anonymous. Nothing is sent unless you tick the confirmation box and click "Send".
When you send a report, we gather these details: reported message, attachments (e.g. uploaded screenshots), page name (e.g. Context, Convert, FAQ), page language, screen size, and browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari) and device information (e.g. operating system such as Windows, macOS, Android or iOS, and device type such as desktop or phone). The data is sent to our private channels on Discord (support, translation and feedback), where we process your report only to fix bugs, improve translations and consider ideas. Please don't include personal or confidential information.
3. Hosting & Third Parties
Our website and domain run on standard third-party hosting, which sees basic network data (like IP addresses) only to keep the site online and secure. Reports additionally pass through Cloudflare and are delivered to Discord. Analytics (Google Analytics) is used only if you accept it in the cookie banner. Third parties handle data under their own privacy policies (Discord, Cloudflare, Google).
