>GENERAL_FAQ

Do you store my files on a server?

No. Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.

Does BC Tools work on mobile?

Yes, every tool works in mobile and desktop browsers, with nothing to install.

Are there keyboard shortcuts?

Yes. (A) adds files, (D) downloads (or converts, or continues where you left off), and (Esc) closes any open menu. In Context, (T) adds text, (S) opens Signature, (H) opens shapes, (R) renames the file, and (B), (I), (U) style the text. Congify has (T), (B), (I) and (U) for captions. Shortcuts are paused while you type in a text field.

How does "Continue where you left off" work?

Most tools save your current work locally as you go — IndexedDB for file-sized data (your images, PDFs, code), localStorage for small preferences (theme, language). It never leaves your device.

What is Sector 7G?

Classified. Its true nature is restricted from human clearance until we are ready, he said.

>CONVERT_FAQ

Will I lose image quality when converting?

Converting to JPG or WEBP applies mild lossy compression. Converting to PNG is lossless.

Can I convert multiple images at once?

Yes. With 5 or fewer images, each one downloads on its own. Between 6 and 20, you can choose single files or one ZIP. Above 20, everything downloads together in one ZIP — there's no single-file option at that scale.

Is WEBP better than JPG?

WEBP usually achieves a smaller file size at comparable quality, but JPG has wider support in older applications.

Can I convert HEIC photos from my iPhone?

Yes. Drop in a .HEIC or .HEIF photo and pick JPG, PNG, or WEBP — Convert decodes it entirely in your browser, no app or upload needed.

>COMPRESS_FAQ

How much will the image shrink?

It depends on the image and chosen level, but it's usually a 30–80% reduction in the original file size.

Will the image lose quality?

Slightly, depending on the level chosen. Low level has almost no visible loss; high level gives bigger savings at the cost of quality.

Do you support PNG files too?

Yes. PNG files are converted to JPG for better compression, which significantly reduces their size.

>COMBINE_FAQ

Does the order of the files matter?

Yes. Pages are combined in exactly the order shown in the list, so drag the files into the order you want before combining.

Is there a limit to how many PDFs I can combine?

There's no hard limit, though very large files may take a little longer since everything is processed in your browser.

Do you keep my files?

No. All processing happens locally in your browser using the File API and JavaScript libraries (pdf-lib and pdf.js) — your files are never uploaded to a server.

>CLEANLY_FAQ

What metadata does this tool find?

GPS location, camera make and model, the date and time the photo was taken, and any editing software recorded in the file — if present.

Does stripping metadata reduce image quality?

No. The image itself is re-encoded at the same resolution and near-original quality — only the hidden metadata is removed.

Do you keep my photos or the metadata you find?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser using the File API and JavaScript libraries (exif-js) — your photos and their metadata are never uploaded to a server.

>CONTEXT_FAQ

Can I edit the text after adding it to the PDF?

Yes. Drag your text to reposition it, or use the toolbar to change its color, size, and style at any point before downloading.

Does this tool save my PDF anywhere?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser using the File API and JavaScript libraries (pdf-lib and pdf.js) — your PDF and any text you add are never uploaded to a server.

Can I use Context on my phone?

Yes. Context has a dedicated fullscreen mobile editor with pinch-to-zoom, so adding text works just as well on a phone as on desktop.

>CONGIFY_FAQ

What can Congify convert?

A video clip into a GIF. Trim the range you want, then pick a frame rate (5, 10, 15, or 20fps) and size before converting.

Why does frame rate matter so much for file size?

Every extra frame is another full image added to the file, so frame rate is the single biggest lever on file size — 10fps is a good default for most clips.

Do you keep my video?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser — your video and the GIF it produces are never uploaded to a server.

>COUDIO_FAQ

What audio formats does Coudio support?

Converting between MP3 and WAV. MP3 is smaller and plays everywhere; WAV is uncompressed and better suited to further editing.

Can I convert more than one audio file at once?

Yes. Each file you load gets its own row with its own convert and download button, so you can work through several files independently.

Do you keep my audio files?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser — your audio is never uploaded to a server.

>CODIFY_FAQ

What does Codify actually produce?

A styled, syntax-highlighted screenshot of a code snippet, exported as a PNG — pick a language and a theme before exporting.

Why does syntax highlighting matter for a screenshot?

It's a real reading aid, not decoration — color-coded keywords, strings, and comments let you scan code by shape and color before reading it word by word.

Do you keep my code?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser — the code you type is never uploaded to a server.

>COLORFY_FAQ

What does Colorfy give me?

Drop in an image, drag the picker to any pixel, and get that exact color's HEX, RGB, HSB, or HSL code instantly.

Can I sample more than one color at once?

Yes, up to 4 pickers on the same image. Add one with the "+" button, or hold Shift and click anywhere on the image to drop a new one right there.

Can I save colors for later?

Yes. Save any color you pick to a palette (up to 20) so you can come back and copy its code again without re-picking it. Double-click a saved color to give it a short name of your own.

Do you keep my image?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser — your image is never uploaded to a server.
