Why convert a HEIC photo to PDF?
A phone photo of a receipt, a whiteboard, or a signed document is often taken straight off an iPhone as HEIC — turning it into a PDF is the natural next step if it's going somewhere official, like an expense report or a form submission.
PDF also lets you combine several HEIC photos — say, multiple pages of a scanned document — into one file instead of sending them as separate images.
